When the presents were sorted, it was time for a rest. He’d been working all night and his feet were so tired. So, Santa turned his eyes to the room. He sat in a chair and read through his wish list. Where would he go next? The house cat purred and rubbed against his leg. He laughed and gave her a stroke, scanning the list. Stuffed bears, board games… The list was long, and everyone’s wishes were handwritten on it with fancy, golden ink.
“Aha!” he said, and pointed at an address, “This one is only down the road!”
